The MaxQ 8000 Shakers require a platform and clamps to operate. Universal Platforms are specialized platforms that can hold many sizes of clamps. Clamps are used to hold your labware in place on the platform. The platforms will hold all sizes of clamps, so you can mix and match clamps for the various labware you have.

Many of our customer use the adhesive flask mat. No clamps are required if you use the mat. You can place this on a platform and various sizes of flasks will adhere to the surface.
