Thermo Scientific LGO Series Box Furnaces feature the latest technical advances in heating elements, insulation and temperature control, all integrated into a self-contained cabinet.

Furnaces feature patented LGO (light gauge overbend) heating elements and Moldatherm insulation for efficient and economical transfer of heat to the chamber, with low exterior temperatures.

Features of the BF51842PFMC-1 Laboratory Furnace

Includes the D2 Controller

Programmable with thirty (30) stored programs with 300 segments for use (maximum of 99 segments per program). Each segment includes one ramp and one dwell, so you can program up to 99 ramp/dwell cycles.

The ramp is used to vary the heat-up or cool-down rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then dwell (hold the temperature) at a set level for a specified time.

A large 5-digit LED display shows actual temperature and an LCD display provides trend recording function, graphic prompts, configurable display data, and custom messages set by the customer.

About the Controllers B2, C2, and D2

This furnace is available with three different controllers allowing various levels of control and programs. All of the controllers are digital. The BF51842PFMC-1 has the D2 controller.

B2 Controller
Single setpoint with one ramp to setpoint. The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then hold the temperature at a set level. An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures.
