Thermo Scientific LGO Series Box Furnaces feature the latest technical advances in heating elements, insulation and temperature control, all integrated into a self-contained cabinet.

Furnaces feature patented LGO (light gauge overbend) heating elements and Moldatherm insulation for efficient and economical transfer of heat to the chamber, with low exterior temperatures.

Features of the BF51842BC-1 Laboratory Furnace

Includes the C2 Controller

Programmable with one (1) stored program of sixteen (16) segments. Each segment includes one ramp and one dwell, so you can program 16 ramp/dwell cycles.

The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then dwell (hold the temperature) at a set level for a specified time.

An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures.

About the Controllers B2, C2, and D2

This furnace is available with three different controllers allowing various levels of control and programs. All of the controllers are digital. The BF51842BC-1 has the C2 controller.

B2 Controller
Single setpoint with one ramp to setpoint. The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then hold the temperature at a set level. An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures.
