Thermo Scientific Lindberg/Blue M furnaces feature a unique internal construction and outer shell design that reduces external surface temperatures without compromising interior temperature uniformity. The furnaces feature individual heating elements at the chamber top, bottom, and sides for uniform heat distribution. A unique Moldatherm ceramic fiber insulation allows rapid heat-up, recovery and cool-down rates.

Features of the BF51542C-BC Lab Furnace

Includes the B2 Controller

Single setpoint with one ramp to setpoint.

The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then hold the temperature at a set level.

An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures.

The controller can be positioned adjacent to or remote from the furnace, permitting applications in fume hoods or containment areas.

About the Controllers B2 and C2 (CC58114)

This furnace is available with two different controllers allowing various levels of control and programs. All of the controllers are digital. The BF51542C-BC has the B2 controller.

B2 Controller

C2 Control Panel

C2 Controller
Programmable with one (1) stored program of sixteen (16) segments. Each segment includes one ramp and one dwell, so you can program 16 ramp/dwell cycles. The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then dwell (hold the temperature) at a set level for a specified time. An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures. Accuracy of controller: ±0.3%.
